Alerts: never miss a chat

Desktop, sound and email alerts, reminders, and away status.

Desktop and sound alerts when your inbox is open in a browser tab. Allow notifications when your browser asks.
Email alerts when a customer messages and nobody is online.
“Needs you” alerts when a customer asks for a person or the AI can’t answer. These come through even on muted chats.
Reminders (on the Team page): if a chat sits unanswered, the team gets another alert, then an email.
Monday summary: owners and admins get a weekly email with chats, AI answers and unanswered questions.

Use the profile button to switch Available for chats off when you step out. Visitors then see you’re away and can leave their email.

Choose which alerts you get under Your profile and alerts. You can mute a whole business, or one chat.
