Getting started with Chatterbell

From sign-up to your first chat in about five minutes.

Chatterbell puts a chat button on your website. Customers ask questions, the AI answers the easy ones from your website, and you’re alerted the moment someone needs a person.

Five steps

1. Add the chat button to your website. Open Add to website in your inbox. WordPress sites can use our plugin; everyone else pastes one line of code. See Add the chat to your website.
2. Send yourself a test message. On Get started, click Open test page and say hello. It appears in your inbox straight away.
3. Teach the AI. Open AI answers and add your website address. See AI answers.
4. Make it look like yours. On Chat button, choose your colour, logo and icon.
5. Turn on alerts. Allow desktop notifications when your browser asks, and keep email alerts on in Your profile and alerts.

Your free trial

Every new business gets Starter free for 14 days, with no card needed. After that you stay on the Free plan unless you choose one. Nothing is deleted.
